Nowadays, our everyday life is full of city noise, emails, cell phones and video games. It’s very difficult for parents and children alike to disconnect.
But that’s exactly what we do in Costa Rica.
We have found special spots around the country which we call OFF THE GRID or AVOID THE CROWDS locations.
Let’s start with two spots in paradise called Catarata del Toro and Laguna de Hule. Surrounded by Juan Castro Blanco National Park and Poás Volcanic National Park, we hike amazing trails in the rainforest that end at beautiful waterfalls. We stop, sit and listen. You can feel your soul be ing recharged.
To visit these areas, you do need to be in good physical condition; children need to be older than 8 years old.
